Gateway site at the entrance to the [[Land Bridge]] in [[Amaraia]] leading up into [[Maldoria]]. It is a traders hub and a medium sized [[Amarian Legion]] garrison. The official purpose of Gateway used to be to guard against invasion when the great [[Ice Storm War]] was happening many decades before, when [[Maldoria]] and [[Amaria]] were enemies. Now however the garrison is there more to act as a deterrent for smugglers. The bigger purpose is it role as a trading point. Where everything from furs to gems, to precious metals and more are traded, sold and moved.
