James is one of the four gamers that are stranded in [[The Alterverse]] and try to find their way home. James is one of the more controversial characters in the book due to his general unsavory personality traits. The character is killed in the book, [[The Alterverse Book]] by [[Kain]] and his companions. He murder takes place in [[Dark Home]] when he tries to betray his friends by bringing the magical [[Book]] to the character [[Kain]].

The character traits that the character has are based on numerous people the author [[Donald Semora]] knows. The character was one of the most widely reviled and despise characters in the initial test writings, and the initial [[Gamers Saga]] book that was published.
