Kain is a cut throat and thief for hire that is the longtime companion of Constance Quinlin in The Altervese.
Kain in his younger years was captured and convicted of several crimes, and was locked in a Dark Home dungeon with Kord and eventually used Kord to escape, betraying him at the last moment of their escape, almost causing Kord to re-captured. Kain eventually betrays Constance Quinlin over the book and is eventually killed by Kord, Freya and the original Gamers.
