The Hiveling Drones their purpose is to care for and mate with the Hiveling Queen. They also protect her no matter the costs and also are there to care for and nourish the eggs and Hiveling Larvae. They do this by vomiting a thick milky white liquid that the larvae feed off of.
Once the Hiveling Queen drops her eggs, which she drops between ten and sixteen at a time, the Drones will move the eggs into a special chamber that they carve out that is close to a heat source, usually a magma packet. In this chamber they care for the eggs until they hatch and become Hiveling Larvae.
They appear as like all Hivelings do, except they have four arms, and a long trunk like appendage that they use to fed Larvae.
