The Iron Stone Gateway sits at the entrance my Myst Bay and is a series of crags and shoals that are almost impossible to navigate. All incoming ships into Dark Home must navigate this natural barrier, by first stopping at Gateway Port. Ships must stop there check in be checked for pirated good, illegal goods and to ensure they are entering legally. They then pay the 5 gold piece fee per ship tax, and then they are escorted into Myst Bay where they can then proceed to Dark Home.
