Lord Smearmore who appears first in the novel Dark Home is one of the most powerful Lords in Dark Home in eastern Amaria. He through a series of plans and actions forces Don, Hutch, Pat, Tena and Freya to go try to find the Child Soul Gem. He send them to The Desolate Isle to do this.
