Overview
A task is something that a player wants to do; it could be picking a lock, or maybe jumping over a deep pit. It could be casting a spell or battling another player or monster. The task is the core of the game. Other mundane tasks that players can be doing are...
Opening a door. Casting a Spell. Jumping over a pit. Trying to hook a rope on a ledge. Lying.
Just about anything.
