Gnome Council of Three

The Gnome Council of Three is made up of three of the richest and most powerful Gnome's in the city of Gnome Home. The Council rules by simple majority and is known to be fair, however always mindful of the secrets of the Gnome people. The Council of Three can be male or female. Where in other places in the Alterverse females can be looked upon as lesser citizens, in Gnome culture a Gnomes worth is based upon their knowledge and industrial intelligence. So it is more based on ones creativity and what they can contribute. To maintain fairness, and to ensure no Gnome gains too much power the Gnome Council of Three every five years steps down and hands power over to new Gnomes.
