Dragons

Dragons are a very rare creature in the Alterverse. There are only a few known types as listed below. Each dragon type has unique abilities and have specific places they live and thrive. Dragon within the Alterverse although rare, are not the typical gold hoarding creatures as with other myths. Dragons within the Alterverse tend to be solitary, however also at times generous as long as their privacy is respected.

Water Dragons

• Habitat - Mainly around Crater Isle
• Size - Large about the size of a normal elephant.
• Appearance - Water Dragons are large, and tend to have teal to light green scale like appearance. They have large gills which help them breath.
• Special Powers - Water Dragons have no real special power other than pure strength.

Mist Dragons

• Habitat - Mainly around Ring of Fire and the eastern edges of Gott
• Size - Large about the size of an elephant
• Appearance - Mist Dragons are ethereal beings, appearing as a shifting mist, indistinct when they need to be.
• Special Powers - Water Dragons have the ability to expel a thick mist that is poisonous to all beings. They also can shift and move through what would normally be impassable objects.

Opal Dragons

• Habitat - Rumored to live within the ice shrouded forests of the northers areas of the Jaghar Isle
• Size - Medium about the size of a large lion.
• Appearance - Opal Dragons appear as winged, long necked creatures with shimmering scales that look like Opals.
• Special Powers - Opal Dragons have the ability to spew from their mouth an acid like fluid that is rumored to melt through any known metal.

Ice Dragons

• Habitat - Mainly around The Great Ice Wastes
• Size - Large about the size of a normal elephant.
• Appearance - Ice Dragons are white to light gray in color, and have large wings, withing their chest is visible a blue glow, which is said is a magical ice energy.
• Special Powers - Ice Dragonss have the ability to expel from their mouths a cloud of razor sharp ice chunks. They also can use their wings to push a frozen wave of air that can freeze those caught too close to it.

Lava Dragons

• Habitat - Mainly around the Ring of Fire
• Size - Large about the size of a normal elephant.
• Appearance - Lava Dragons are large, and have a glowing red coal in the center of their chest. They tend to be jet black in color, except of their eyes which glow orange red like lava, and the glowing coal in the center of their chest.
• Special Powers - Lava Dragons can expel a jet of hot air that is so hot it will melt all know metals. They also are the only Dragon type that is known to horde treasure.
