Tall with thick bark the Ice Elm grows only in the Ice wood and Polar Wood forests. The tree is prized for it thick black sap that the Maldoran people use to make their own version of hearty, dark Ale. The wood from these trees are used to make the main beams of ships. This wood is used as it tend to be very straight and hard, but still flexible. Which makes it perfect for ships.
